Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. Dakota Meyer stops by KUSI

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — This is a must-see interview! On Saturday, we welcomed Marine Sgt. Dakota Meyer to the KUSI studio.

Sgt. Meyer was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions above and beyond the call of duty during combat operations in Afghanistan. He received the medal from President Barak Obama in a ceremony at the White House.

In this interview, he covers everything from his decision to join the Marines while in high school to the situation that led him to being awarded the nation’s highest military honor.
