Victoria’s Secret? Cashmere Manicures for All
The Angels all walked the glitter runway with fall's prettiest manicure.

Since it started, the Victoria’s Secret show has enjoyed countless bombshell beauty moments. This year’s lingerie spectacular was no different, with Dame Pat McGrath masterminding the baby winged eyeliner and pink cheeks, while Guido Palau executed the blowouts. But it was the silky cashmere nails Holly Falcone that sparked some major manicure inspiration.
A cousin of the gloriously glossy soap nails, “cashmere nails” have all the shine of a bubble bath, but with the semi-opaqueness of a plush woven blanket. Adding to the softness of the look? The medium length and round shape, all of which added to the snuggle factor. And, of course, the very VS baby pink shade.
While the show might have done away with some of the early ’00s staples, the classic, minimal manicure has endured. Of course, there’s a modern twist, with the exact nail shape and length customized to each model (spot Ashley Graham’s slightly more almond-shaped version). When the show returned after a decade-long hiatus last year, director Margot Bowman said the goal was to “create a new vision in which more people can see themselves represented.” Who wouldn’t want these easy-to-replicate nails?
