3 Winter Trends That Were Practically Invented With the Gen Z Fashion Crowd in Mind

There are winter trends, and then there are winter trends with Gen Z fashion lovers in mind. I’m a Gen Zer who indeed loves fashion, and the trends I’ve been really into are shared with other cool kids. On my daily scroll on Instagram, I noticed three fun, fresh trends that make me feel excited about getting dressed for winter.
Gen Z influencers have done their job well, influencing me to purchase fashion items from three trends that feel like they were invented for my generation. (I’m so glad to be born in '98) Influencers such as Jasmine Rogers have been wearing vibrant tights with their winter looks for a fun pop of color that I can’t get enough of. Meanwhile, if you’re a fan of prints, like I am, puffer jackets are getting more and more whimsical, from plaid to leopard print, as seen on Ruby Lyn. Devon Lee Carlson wore a fur-trim coat on Instagram, and then I kept seeing other cool people in the city wear them. It’s safe to say that these trends just feel Gen Z, in my humble (Gen Zer) opinion.
If you’re Gen Z or in a neighboring generation and want to try out some fun new fashion trends for winter, keep scrolling through to shop these three made for Gen Z.
Printed Puffers

Puffer jackets that are functional and fashionable? Absolutely. As a Gen Zer from the South, I love a puffer jacket and am hyperfixated on these newer takes on staying warm while staying stylish. You can pick from plaid, camo, monogram, and more.

Fur-Trim Outerwear

Gen Z loves looking to the past for trends, but this one just feels like it’s right from this generation. Staying warm while looking good has never been easier. Outerwear with a fur trim has a chic element and makes outfits look a little more expensive than they are.

I, for one, love a bright-colored pair of tights. Tights are already unsung heroes in the accessories department, but a pair of vibrant tights will do just the trick for a boring winter outfit.
