Forget a Pop of Red, Rihanna Reps a Pop of Pink

Rihanna has long made her penchant for pink clear. Take one of her best maternity looks ever, a spring summer 2001 Issey Miyake dress made from semi-sheer pleats in a gradient of sorbet tones with a shoulder-engulfing neckline, and a breezy, pink-checked trapeze dress from Loewe. Now, stepping out with her sons to the Ball N Bounce Kids Playhouse in Los Angeles, Rih shows once again how to rep a playful pop of pink.
Photographed yesterday (October 26), Rihanna stepped out in a loose, black long-sleeved shirt and black sweatpants, paired with candy pink Puma sneakers and a matching, shiny pink banana. Casual and cute, perfect for the ballpit with those signature Rihanna accessories.
Rih’s dalliance with pink travels across the color’s spectrum, from candy tones, to muted neutrals, and splashes of neon, from pajamas to bump-baring hoodies, and jaw-dropping vintage. Even her announcement for the birth of her first daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers, saw Rih and Rocki swathed in bright pink bows.
