Rihanna Makes Daytime Pajamas a Glamorous Affair

If you thought that daytime sleepwear was left behind in the WFH days of 2020, you’d be sorely mistaken. Yesterday, Rihanna modeled a pajamas-as-daywear look while out in Los Angeles with her son, RZA.

Rih continued to plumb the depths of maternity style in a pair of her own Savage x Fenty PJs, opting for a salmon pink and white striped button-up and pull-on pants. As she continues to remind us, accessorizing makes the look: Rihanna played up the baby pink in her PJs with a pink and white headscarf and a pair of pink satin Maison Margiela tabi ballerina flats.

The singer and mogul styled her matching set with heaps of jewelry, including go-to Renato Cipullo “R” pendant among her necklace stack, blue heart-shaped Valentino Garavani clip-on earrings, and her beloved rose gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch. Rih finished off her errands look with a white Gucci shoulder bag and a pair of cat-eye sunglasses.

Rihanna isn’t the only celebrity to endorse the sleepwear look. Earlier this summer, Jennifer Lawrence took a stroll in a flowing, off-white Rohé set, dressed up with a pair of mesh flats from The Row, a Dior Saddlebag, and, like Rih, layered gold necklaces.
